THE ACTING LAB

The Acting Lab is run by Scottish acting and public speaking coach, Elaine Newton. Born in Dundee and a graduate of the prestigious RSAMD (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) in Glasgow, Elaine continued her training in Paris, Los Angeles and London. Back home in Dundee she set up The Acting Lab in 2015 – starting with one course but adding to this every year with different workshops and new services (e.g. 1:1 Coaching). Her international training has given Elaine the knowledge base and breadth of experience to provide all her students and clients with support and inspiration along with structured, practical acting skills and professional techniques from which great confidence can be learned and transferred to any aspect of life. Her many glowing testimonials point to Elaine’s enthusiastic, passionate and innately empathetic approach, her generous sharing of knowledge, and her desire to make a big difference in the lives of her students and one-to-one and corporate clients.
